Title: What does this word mean?
Post by: angelsgirl on July 02, 2006, 06:47:19 PM
Okay, so I'm a little embarrassed to ask....and I hope that this is right place to be asking...but I ran across, somewhere in my online travels, that mentioned the word "princess" as associated with ->-bleeped-<-.  I don't actually know what the connotation is... I mean, I could guess, but I don't know if it's derogatory or not.  I've been calling Jocelyn my princess since we started dating, without realizing it had some alternate meaning...have I been calling her a bad name unintentionally?!

I usually use "princess" to refer to a high maintenance woman - either financially or emotionally. I also call my cat that because she is high maintenance.

i've never heard it used as a transgendered reference.

i use "princess" to describe my girls, my upcoming wife and daughter because they are very feminine and they deserve to be treated like princesses.

call jocelyn your princess as much as you like! i think it's an endearing term.

sorry i couldn't help you much,

Well, if nobody else has heard it used that way then it makes me feel a little better!  Jocelyn thinks it's cute that I call her princess and while I know that's all that matters, I just wanted to be sure that if I referred to her that way on this website that it wouldn't be misinterpreted!

QuoteFrom what I understand, it is used to indicate when a MTF is extremely feminine and hyper-sensitive.

Jocelyn basically fits that description and so long as it's not a negative nickname, she's stuck with it!  ;D

Thanks everybody!

It's used quite frequently in my area as slang....and it means
a "Queen" (another word for a MtF TS) whom is just starting to reckonize and accept she is a TS or a TS that just started to transition (not quite a Queen but a Princess...queen in the making)

Oh and a lot of people used to call me that!LOL
