Title: Joking about SRS
Post by: MaggieB on June 15, 2008, 02:56:58 PM
My SO and I were chatting this morning and she asked me what I wanted for my birthday, next month. I replied. "Hummmm, well, what do you get for the woman who has everything?" She then said, " Surgery, because she doesn't want everything...." I cracked up.

LOL... that is funny. And she sounds like a VERY supportive wife. And THAT is
the best thing of all she can give you :)

LOL

If you really think about it, being trans and transitioning *is* kinda funny.  My daughter (13) and I have some good laughs over it, too.

i agree.  the whole trasition is awesome and fun and funny and a great learning experience that brings friend closer together.  my friend quintin makes fun of me and says that someone finally has bigger moobs (man boobs) than him now. :P

I found that by maintaining my sense of humor, even at times at my own expense, made it much easier for my friends to handle my transition.
