I know Mila personally.

The data gathered from the survey will be put to good use in support of the trans community.

VERY good use...

...just do it--

Here's another link to the survey:

If I knew a way to make this post neon/flashing/searchlight-y, I'd do it

OK, I bit and took the survey.  Although I have not come out at my work and am only known as birth gender, I have been involved in a couple of special panels trying to make "reasonable accomodation" for people who are transitioning.  That one turned out super easy, and both actually got 5% pay increase promotions since their birth gender work was good, and there were folks about half a mile away (in the same building) who needed them in their preferred genders to be as good a worker who was worth more over yonder.

I also was part of a hiring panel for a person who told us they were going to transition on the job we were offering.  That one did not turn out good, all the person could talk about was their gender issues, and we needed someone with accounting and business analysis skills, not a hormone tester!!!  ???  The reason they did not get the job was the fact that they never offered us input on getting the job done!!!   Moly Hoses, I may go out as blonde a lot, but my gray roots got even grayer with that experience!!!

I am a bit activist, but not deluded as to the fact that TG folks are still human beings!!  ::)

The results of this survey are already being compiled and distributed. This was an old post :)

Yeah I realized that the post was old at the time but figured since the survey was still accessible they must still be collecting data.  Perhaps I wasted my time.  Oh well...
