The Fringe Fest is pretty much all that's left of real theater and not re-warmed old Broadway musicals.

I remember him in Blue Peter. It might actually be funny. That show tries so hard to be the stereotypical representation of the BBC yet it ends being a parody of itself all the time. Cocaine, quiz-fixing, pet-swapping... they've had about every 'scandal' possible. ;D
I don't know why the need to dress up in drag, though. There's already more than enough comedic material to be done about Blue Peter. That show is about as far removed from real life as it's possible to get. And his comments about it not being relevant to children in the article are spot on. It's almost as though it's trying to stay in the 1950's. If I was in Edinburgh, I would watch it. ;D
