Wow, Cindi, I hope you are planning on publishing the journey of your transition.  I was transfixed (no pun intended) as I read this excerpt.

Robyn

Robyn,  this "journey" started out last weekend when I decided to pop in out of stealth mode.  I was bored and I thought that I might be able to lend a little support for someone else who struggled like me.

Little did I realize how much I YES I would get from this forum of wonderful souls.  So, I started writing.  After the first couple of posts, I decided to write some essays.  Then I decided that I should do the complete set for my children to read.  And thanks to many words of encouragement, I believe that I will self publish these as a book.

This last piece was the most difficult to write as will the following parts.  They involve someone who I loved deeply.  I want to clearly remember the facts and give her credit for doing the best she could do to deal with this situation.  When I look back on it all, the support structure she had was very knowledge poor.  She had the support of her family which is a lot. But no one could sit her down and convey the facts of the situation.  Instead she was strung along, as I had been, to believe that God would salvage all with enough faith and perseverance. I still feel very painfull even thinking about what she must have endured.

Robyn, thank you very much for your words of encouragement.  I really can't finid the words to express myself well this early morning.

Another great story.  You never said what happened with your infection.
