I am facing a possible relocation to the city...any advice?
I got out of the suburbs to go to college in Boston and I LOVED being there. Ever since I had to leave I've dearly missed living within walking/public transit distance of anything I would want to do, so there's a huge part of me screaming "do it!"
Cost of living is higher, of course, but I would also be ditching the car, insurance, and gas. And I know my salary would scale, so for the sake of argument I have to assume there wouldn't be a significant impact...I know that isn't 100% reality, but I feel like the other positives would offset it.
