No fair to represent coffee and not tea! >:D
*edit*
Forgot to say, feel free to add something if you think it's a "no duh!" category I missed. But please don't add an option that's already up there! Thanks :)
With just milk!
tink :icon_chick:
Raspberry flavored and iced. Or good old fashioned sweet tea, Y'all.
Janet
Hmmm. Depends on the sort. I sometimes drink it plain without anything... really strong. But sometimes I like iced tea with a bit of sugar. I like green tea, too, so hot that it almost burns. ;D

Amen to that, I think each kind has a way it is best!
Mmm...tea...haven't had tea for *ages* (been very naughtily living off coffee. Literally :P).
However, I love Earl (or Lady) Grey and normal tea (each with one sugar and a bit of milk, and fairly weak - none of this leaving the teabag in for a few minutes ;)), and as for Chai Lattes...mmmmmm... :icon_dribble:
Oh dear, you've got me going now. Who started this thread?!!! >:D
Me and I'll proudly claim it!
I've taken to making my chai the old fashioned way. And seriously, it is SO GOOD.
You boil your tea leaves in a pot (yes boil!) for a few minutes. Then you add whole milk or soy milk (I prefer soy actually!), sugar if you want, and let the pot boil for a few more minutes. Strain, and serve!
Zomg, so good.
HUmmmmmmmmmmmm, Long Island Iced Tea
I like my tea like I like my men. Black.
Lia
Depends on the tea, Ms. Tea-lady. Stronger teas sweet and with milk, weaker teas straight-up. Some with a splash of honey, some with equal and Long Island Iced Tea? Not at all. :)

And some teas that works for as well.

I only really drink lemon tea. And usually the powdered stuff that tastes like it should be a remedy for colds. I really like that, unsweetened to the point where it makes your jaw clench. I'm not a big fan of sugar, and don't have it in any hot beverage.
Mint tea is quite tasty though. :)
I don't drink 'regular' tea at all.
man I hate tea. give me some hot cocoa
Lots of sugar, lots of milk. Unless I'm drinking green tea, peppermint, or jasmine, then just sugar.
I like my tea iced with a bit of lemon & sugar.
Otherwise, I'm not really a big fan.
Chaunte
milk and sugar no matter the flavor. and 'almost burn my tongue' hot.
Stevia and Soymilk for black tea~ Which I have everyday~
The rest of teas I generally drink with either a bit or no stevia.
And of course... Chai Latte's.
I drink green tea and iced tea pretty much with nothing added. I drink regular hot tea if there nothing else available maybe with a little lemon.
Anna
How long do you want the list to be?
I generally don't drink black teas anymore because they are too harsh on my stomach.
Sometimes I like tea - Earl Gray - hot. Sometimes Lady Gray. Either of them straight.
Most green teas like Oolong are good straight up also.
Mostly I drink herbal teas.
Red Zinger requires a bit of sugar or honey.
Any apple/cinnamon mixture is good, but Good Earth Original is my favorite. Sometimes I throw in an Atomic Fireball. :D
Arnold Palmers! Yum :D

Just out of curiosity, is that cuppa from the replicator in your ready room?
Tried Earl Gray, but didn't like the anise flavor it had. Does Lady Gray have that same flavor? If not, I might try some.
QuoteEither of them straight.
Can we still use that word nowadays? :D (Just kidding!)

Bergamot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bergamot_orange) flavor, not anise. Lady Gray also adds lemon and orange peel.

I think we need a converter like the AFA used to automatically change all references of "gay" to "homosexual". How about all references to "straight" are changed to "heterosexual" from now on >:D
OK, so go three blocks, turn left, then go heterosexual for two miles until the stop sign

lol @ the title of this thread. "Phaw!"? Whatsername, you're too cute by half.
My favorite is China Black. I like things with a little bite to them. At night I like something herbal, like Sweet Dreams or Sleepytime.
Unsweetened iced tea is yummy too.
Stealth, stopping everything for tea
That's so funny, because I just saw "chinese black tea" as a choice yesterday at a cafe and had never heard of it before. I think I read it was a yunnan, that is strong stuff!
I like my tea the southern way. Sweettea (yes in the south that's one word) with lots of lemon.
Beverly
Oolong, green, and jasmine tea I drink straight.
For herbal teas, I usually drink lemon or Wild Berry Zinger straight. But, I'll usually add a little sugar to mint tea.

Oh, yes! I remember the first time I ordered ice tea in Atlanta and was faced with the question, "regular or Yankee?"
i like chai hot or cold, soymilk if you please ( no ice in the cold, makes it too watery)
i LOVE green tea cold with honey
herbal teas too, just a bit o'honey
jasmine tea i like with a bit of milk.....and honey of course!!
I have always LOVED a good, solid cup of coffee. I've been roasting and grinding my own beans for years! Puerto Rico produces an excellent crop, although it's in short supply as most goes to the Vatican, but there are many other varieties and estates world wide that reliably produce fine beans.
I only drink two cups a day, but I expect those two cups to be of sufficient body, fullness and complexity of flavor to carry me through the day or evening. For me, tea just doesn't do it.
whats all this faffing with tea?
You need a proper builder's tea.
you get yer bag of typhoo, pour boiling water on it, two tiny drops of milk and then squeeze the teabag.

:icon_hahano: Oh... my... god... That's wonderful!
Depends
Green tea (sometimes with mint) : Sweetner
Chamomile Tea: Honey
Lemon Tea: Suger
Peach Tea: Plain or with Sweetner depending on brand as they taste different
I haven't really tried many different sorts yet unfortunately. I usually drink bergamot-flavoured Earl Grey tea with some milk, sometimes honey if I have sore throat. Green tea I prefer without anything added. Lemon Ice tea is nice as well, but most are sweetened, which I really don't like. Guess I'll have to make my own.
Organic fair trade.
Hot.
Green.
Naked.
Q. Hypatia, do you mean you like the tea to be naked (i.e. with nothing added) or you drink it when you're naked?
A. Both. As long as I don't spill any on me. ow.
Other. I like a little tea with my sugar. :D
I like my tea to not have any tea in it at all... Just take the water and brew it through some filtered coffee grounds and then it'll be perfect. ;)
But when I do have tea I like it plain and steamin hot. :P
I have some juice and coffee w/cream when I get up. Then later I make some herb tea and add lemon juice and honey to go with another glass of (Mango/Orange/Cranberry/Raspberry) juice. But this time I add a shot of whiskey and ice to the juice

I need to spend mornings at your house. lmao
i dont drink coffee but i do tea. i picked:
Well ms. tea person you must know it depends on what kind of tea I'm drinking!
if it needs some kinda of sugar i usually use whats available if honey is. i use that.
Don't like regular tea... My favourite is Indonesian jasmine tea - "Te Cap Botol" to be precise, with white sugar in the mornings. Never drink milk in anyway.
Gunpowder Green Tea is also nice, got a taste for it when I lived in West Africa.
I like gunpowder tea too. Seems to be mellow to my mouth. I hate that sort of metalic tang of tea that has been steeped too long.
You def. don't wanna drink takadumptea  >:-)

As us British are renowned for loving our tea. My answer is as above! :)
Jay
I like my tea made with ground up coffee beans.. :P!
No really, I like Celestial Seasoning's herbal teas, with a touch of sugar or honey. My favorite is the green tea one with raspberries.
Mmm.. 2 Tablespoons of condensed milk in Bushell's morning breakfast tea with a teaspoon of sugar & and a packet of ginger nut/scotch finger biscuits!
as a bit of the southern boy/girl... I LOVE sweet tea. I travel for a living, and it drives me crazy when I go into a restaurant and ask for sweet tea and they look confused.
so they offer cold unsweet tea and suger. But you can't properly sweeten cold tea... you have to sweeten it hot then let it cool.
With a lot of coffee added. :D
I have started drinking Earl Grey with steamed milk.
Myles
Just with milk and sugar... Nothing else fancy. :)
Maybe I'm kinda weird, fist I make coffee and add cream, then later I make tea and add lemon juice and honey
5 sugars and really milky =}
I like Indian tea if it has plenty of honey, milk and sugar. And Chamomile but without the milk and honey
I drink green tea... why do you need anything else with that?
Red Bull and cannabis. :icon_caffine: :icon_rockon:
tall fresh brewed all day then ganga/green tea before bedtime
I don't know if I've posted here before or not. But in case I didn't
I like Chamomile, Green, and sometimes Indian tea. I use plenty of sugar in my tea
I love green tea and like black tea. I can tolerate coffee, but I'm not a big fan.
I like green tea, but prefer oolong. I'm not a big fan of black tea, though.
Darjeeling is my favorite. I don't add anything to it or to green tea, but black tea needs a little honey.
mmmm I love a nice hot cup of Shui Hsien, a Chinese oolong tea also known as 'Water Fairy' (of course). I paticularly love having it at the tea house in the Chinese Gardens at Darling Harbour in Sydney, Australia...
Chinese Garden of Friendship (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OvpWfvCVMI#)
I have just recently revealed my tea addiction to my fiance who of course is a full blown coffee fan. I hid it well only occasionally having tea and having coffee with him all the time but it came to a point where I had enough well okay so he kinda figured it out and made admit to my addiction. So I proudly stand here and say Hi my name is Bianca and I am addicted to tea.
Hot jasmine tea. No sugar, no cream, it's great.
No tea or coffee for me, they just don't do anything for me. I prefer a good hot chocolate.
I drink an herbal tea mix with honey and lemon juice
Just regular tea with milk, probably about 3 or 4 cups a day. But I am British so what do you expect. This is the land of tea drinkers.
Ahh yes it is. We can put out our selection of teas at the backstage coffee station and they will gather dust until we get some Brit tour in and they wipe us out complaining about the Yanks drinking 'bitter brown water.' I doubt that most Americans really are aware of how much that coffee is a political protest going back to 1773 when GB passed the Tea Act, the full title of which is An act to allow a drawback of the duties of customs on the exportation of tea to any of his Majesty's colonies or plantations in America; to increase the deposit on bohea tea to be sold at the East India Company's sales; and to empower the commissioners of the treasury to grant licenses to the East India Company to export tea duty-free.) Which in an odd way, lowered the price of tea in the colonies.
love tea but don't even bother with it in other countries.... though not been to china... I'm thinking about moving to Japan later in the year though.
earl grey touch of honey... so relaxing XD The only good coffee shop in town (they also do tea) keeps it in stock just for the owner and myself :)
Oh, and has anyone noticed that whole leaf tea is becoming common... as in you can buy it at albertsons and the like now. A days worth of tea made in a frenchpress XD yes I blaspheme
I mostly drink that dark stuff they add a bunch of chemicals to, Tradewinds is my fav, Arizona is too acidic. I drink it to curb my insatiable appetite for carbonation which I'm trying to gradually end. Anyone try Yerba mate? Good times. White is better than green. I guess I like alot but ok...plain red (rooibos) and chai are my favs.
I must try the frenchpress thing!
I had a French press for quite awhile and loved it until I picked it up one day and the bottom of it had cracked and fell right off :-\
There's nothing like cleaning up four cups of freshly made tea :P
Any kind of Green tea, plain sometimes with a little sugar.
Any kind of Black tea, Milk and Honey.
:D
Yeah! Tea! Ambrosia of the gods!
It depends on the tea.
My FAVORITE is Earl Grey with milk and sugar.
Any kind of black tea I'll usually add a little sugar.
Fruit teas or white/green teas I won't add anything.
Thank you for this poll! I am a Tea Freak! I aspire to one day make my own like an herbalist of old....mwahaha! >:-)
