I recently came across a stunning interview with Jess Ream, a student at Mount Holyoke College, where she discussed the issues of being a transgender athlete.
As a bisexual transgender athlete, Ream discussed things like how she doesn't prefer to use pronouns, and she lets people call her what is most comfortable for them, since she doesn't mind.

Reading that, the term
House ->-bleeped-<- popped into my mind for some reason... Am I overly sensitive?
=K
Karen, I think most of us are very sensitive to words, especially pronouns. Over the last few years, I have become less sensitive to certain words. I still don't like the word '->-bleeped-<-'. There are a few others that people in our community like to call themselves that I'm still not comfortable with. I guess it depends on the person. One size does not fit all.
