Nova, a transsexual famous in Spain, has been assaulted in Madrid. The attacks began after a group comprised of three men and one woman asked Nova, who had been sitting outside on a terrace, "How's the view, queen?" and then began to beat her, leading to several facial gashes that required plastic surgery. When her mother came out and attempted to help her daughter, she was bashed on the head with a chair.
