Title: Another T question
Post by: Nero on July 19, 2006, 09:52:54 AM
Yet another question from the pre-T guy.
What if anything happens to the skin on T? (Other than the acne. I've already heard about the acne.)
I mean, does the skin become really rough? Does it lose it's smoothness?

Apparently the size of your pores will increase. Facial hair will make it rougher to some extent. I still have pretty smooth skin though (and very little facial hair). It probably will become rougher, but think about when we start puberty and how long it takes a bio male after puberty to get visibly rougher skin.

The zits are a crapshoot. I'm fortunate in that I haven't had much trouble with them. Some people have an awful time. All I get is the odd Monday morning zit (after a weekend of not showering - which isn't every weekend, just if I'm just hanging around the house and not seeing anyone).

Nero,

Like Dennis said, everyone is different with the zits. I am getting more on my back and shoulders here and there, but as long as you treat them right away, it's no big deal. I am still waiting for my pores to get bigger, because that is a big thing when people are tring to decide "what" you are. I have a good amount of facial hair under my chin and it is getting corser on my top lip, and sides of my face but is not all that noticible yet. I have only had 3 shots though, so maybe by the end of the year? We will see.
