ATLANTA (AP) — A former state employee claimed Tuesday in a federal lawsuit that top Georgia legislative officials fired her because she said she would come to work dressed as a female as she prepared for a sex-change procedure to transform from man to woman.

She was on the news yesterday on Channel 2 here in Atlanta. She's very soft spoken and, at least I thought, quite passable...attractive. The camera operator kept zooming in on her hands showing her nails as if to say, "OMG he's wearing nail polish!!!" Bad journalism as it distracted one from the interview. Or maybe that was the purpose.
