One thing that seems to be tough to figure out is what to eat. I know we are all different but in many ways we are all alike. I'm just on the skinny side and it really bothers me. I dont mind so much being small up top. But, I WANT HIPS and BUTT !!!! Everyone tells me how great I look and how good my voice is but I'm just very judgmental of myself..So tell me please. What would be some goods things to eat on a regular basis. I eat pretty healthy and I'm steadily losing some weight. Not to much to fast. But when I lose weight I lose inches in the places I dont want to. With the HRT I have lose lots of mass up top. But I dont want to loose my butt and hips..
From what I have heard, after you start HRT new fat gets built up in appropriate areas but the old stuff tends to stay put untill you lose it (or it changes very slowly). So by that logic if you lose some weight and put it back on it will tend to be in more womanly areas.
Losing weight is going to lose inches everywhere and what you eat won't actually change that.
Try uping your calorie intake, gain a bit of weight and see where it goes. Just an idea. It might be you're damned if you do, damned if you don't in that you might find being thin equals no curves and to be curvy you need to gain weight.
I say eat cake.
Thanks for the imput. I'm just afraid of it going back on in the places I don't want it to. But I'll try your suggestion and see what happens. Thanks so much for the help!!!
question tho- if you're like really skinny- 1.83m (+- 6"2') and 55kg (+- 120lb)
does hormones help with the arms... i mean, it should- i hope it should... because i already tried the cookies, cakes, pies, burgers, pizza... and i just don't get fat(ter), maybe i gained two kg's but that's it. *sigh*
being thin is nice, but being as thin where people ask questions is not fun. -_-
A lot of the time if you're underweight, eating without exercise wont help you gain any weight. And you have to make sure you're eating the good stuff, not the crap. Don't eat crap food, eat healthy. Proteins and good fats.
You need a balance in your diet, therefore when you exercise and eat right, your body will stabilize. Exercise isn't just for people who want to lose weight, but also for people who want to gain it.
I'm 5'7" and 113 lbs. Which is essentially 10 lbs underweight. My metabolism works really fast, so if I'm not utilizing that protein and carbs, where do you think it goes? You guessed it.
Hi Tisha
I have to say you look great. I agree with Monty you have to eat healthy and exercise.
aerobic exercises are good and won't bulk you up. taking walks twice a day at a good pace but not jogging is good also.
From what I have read and experienced myself was that protein and amino acids really help.
I take a protein supplement (shake W/ whole milk) and a multi vitamin called hair, skin, & nails along with good eating habits.
When I started HRT I was 150lbs now after 11 months I am at 126lbs and my hips have gained a half an inch in size even with
the weight loss. Also If it is difficult to put the weight on the hips (as it is for me) well you really should try tightlacing
(waist training with a corset) It will keep the fat from building up on the waist and over time will make your waist smaller.
I have a 28in waist with 33 1/2 hips. I may not gain much more in my hips but my goal is to get my waist down to 24 inches
that will accent the hips more. I hope this helps give you some ideas, just stay away from garbage food (you are what you eat)
Kisses......Nicole
Some girls dont have very visible hips or butt.. ^^
just eat and dont worry about calories or fat or sugar or anything. Just enjoy the food you enjoy. Dont under eat, dont over eat. Just dont worry bout it and your body will take the form it naturally should be.
