i also dislike bad music.

One person's bad music is the next person's top of the pops.  Even Ludwig van Beethoven got bad reviews for his work in his time.

Yeah, I often am (happily) clueless as to a lot of the bands I'm working with until they walk on stage and play.  Though I can tell a lot based on the people waiting to go in and see them, and what I am setting up for them.  Four (count 'em) four sets of inputs for ProTools?  Yeesh, why tour, just send the computer ahead to play.

But I've had to suffer though people I like, doing music I thought (until that moment) I liked, and also watched people I didn't much care for turn in great sets - so I never know.

What upsets me is when peeps are so stubborn that even though they know theyre wrong, they persist in holding their opinion and trying to convince you that theyre right. And someone who just doesnt seem to be taking on board what you are saying. I dont mind people disagreeing with me, but I cannot stand people stubbornly refusing to acknowledge that, just maybe, I might have a point.

Ah, but things can get sticky here...people with widely divergent views may both believe that they are "right".  How can you say which viewpoint is "right"?  Not trying to be devil's advocate, really.  I just know that no matter how right I may believe I am, there is another who believes their wildly divergent viewpoint is also right.  Maybe each of us can be "right"...for us.   For me...what upsets me is people who let their dogs bark out of their windows or back-yards all day long.  Makes me absolutely crazy!

That I can't pass.  That I cry.  That I am to emotional.

That I can never get over the stuff that happened in childhood

What upsets me, when a friend says they are  open minded . You tell them about yourself , and suddenly they are not so open minded.
