Got my T today!!! Actually covered by insurance with no issues (shocker!).
This is it; this is for real, time to be ME!!!!!
Jay
Way to go and congratulations, Jay! Another birthday for you. (I still remember mine - January 5th, 2005, although I usually forget to celebrate it.)
Dennis
Happy T day!
Oh thats a cool idea, two birthdays.
Happy T-day, bro!
Congrats!
Wonderful.
You know, I don't know if you're going to do this, but I'm going to take pictures so I can see what changes happened. Because I'm a nerd and I'll study myself as a specimen. :P
You might not want to remember the "old you", though. Now's the time to take a pic if you want to compare later.
Congrats!! We need a picture if you ever decide to start growing a beard :D
Congratulations. In addition to keeping a photo log, why do you not make a voice log as well? That is what I shall do. It would be quite exciting to hear the change in voice.
Congrats and good luck
Great that the insurance actually covered it
I agree, I'm interested in a voice log as well.

Yep congrats bro! :icon_boogy: :icon_joy:
Congrats!!
Thanks, everyone!
No changes yet, obviously, but I've only had 4 doses.
Jay
Can I ask what type of T you are taking? As im taking Substadon (however you spell it).
Belated congratulations Jay!
Taking Androgel 1%.
Jay
Congrates!
Congrats Jay, keep us posted! Camden
congrats on T, doesn't it feel great?
What made you pick androgel?
I didn't pick it. My endo did. He said that because I'm having my hysto within a month, he'd just start me as if I were a male with low testosterone and put me on the normal male starting dose of T with the gel. He said we'll adjust from here.
I think his thinking is that because I won't have a lot of estrogen to overcome, I don't need the shots (at this time).
If my hysto were to be delayed he'd have given me the shots.
Jay
well cool... hope it works out. exciting stuff dude, hysto really soon too. you're gonna have a lot of days to celebrate
Cool, congrats! Sound like a good way to go about it, I was thinking about the same thing, start on low T and remove the junk asap, that way all those organs and estrogen can't cause any trouble w/T. If you don't mind me asking, how much is the gel, w/out insurance...how did you get it covered -- you live in the US?
