Title: Tryglicorides and cholesterol
Post by: Scratchy Wilson on July 30, 2008, 09:34:14 PM
I just got my blood tests back a couple days ago. I've been on T for about 4 months now but my recent tests showed that my tryglicorides have more than doubled, over 250 and my cholesterol has also gone up a bit. Anyone else having these problems? How have you dealth with these problems?

My cholesterol was a bit high (220) and my good cholesterol was also high (150).  My endo told me to eat more fiber (oatmeal, veggies) at the moment, so I'm trying that.  I go back in 2 months after taking T for 2 months (I just started; not quite a week on T) and I hope it's gone down some.

Try diet first.

Both my cholesterol and triglycerides have dropped since being in testosterone.   I can't remember the triglyceride level, but my cholesterol was 115.
