Title: Are gender-variant individuals more concentrated in certain places?
Post by: Luc on August 05, 2008, 03:30:35 PM
After having met yet another ftm from Ohio, I got to thinking there may be some trend in where some of us come from. Far from having any definitive theories, I figured I'd poll you folks and see if anything surfaced. If you were born outside of the U.S., this isn't meant to exclude you; I'd appreciate if you'd post and let me know the country and state/province in which you were born, if possible.

By the way, I was born in Ohio. Go buckeyes!

You may want to compare these numbers to state population vs. internet access before drawing any real conclusions from it.

Ah, I appreciate the advice... but this is mostly out of curiosity, at least at this point.

California born and raised and damn proud. That's Southern California, or, to be even more specific, I was born in Sylmar (somewhere in The Valley), raised in places like Inglewood, Culver City, and Downtown LA, and I'm now living in North Hollywood--The Valley again. I feel as if I've come full circle. City of Angels, ftw<3.

I would think that in terms of birth the stats would be equal across the board by birthplace, but by where we are as adults you would see more of a concentration in larger cities and more liberal areas - but that again follows general population patterns.

It's easier to be out in a city. You may never get an accurate count of how many were born anyway. Some regions discourage people from the Realization or from going public with the Realization. You'll only know about out and about peoples.

Massachusetts.

Yes. I was born, and I resent it. Someone will pay for committing this atrocity upon me.  Someone. Will. Pay.
