anyone american football fan? if so whats your team??
Mine's Oakland Raiders!
Broncos here...
Though for the past two years I haven't really followed.
I like the Raiders, more of a Niners fan, but not much to cheer about on either side of the bay of late.
Although most women don't really get into football, I might be a exception.

sexist and stereotyped, I know quite a few women who are into sports in general, pro sports in particular, and even football. I think if you examine the female fans you will find women who competed in Title IX sports on a college level, and/or went to big time sports (Penn State, Ohio State) colleges and universities.

And take those horrid purple -- shoulda been blue and green -- uniforms with you!!
I never paid much attention to pro football until the Titans moved into Nashville. I like to see how they do these days. But, no TV, so I go to ESPN.com to check.
My favorite football team right now is my 10-year old's Pop Warner team! Go Bears!!
Nichole
Although I am English, I have been very much into American Football since 1984.
My uncle took me to see my first game in 1984 and I have been a firm Green Bay Packers fan ever since that first visit to Lambeau Field. They sucked big time in the 80's!
I have been lucky enough to also see the Packers play in Oakland, Denver, Detroit and Chicago as well as 2 other visits to Lambeau.
The local cable channel here shows two games live on a Sunday night, first at 9pm and then at about 1am, I record the later game.
I am sure Aaron Rodgers will fill Bret Favre's cleats and a Super Bowl against the Jets would be fun.

Well Oakland is bound to do better this year, after all, they could not do worse than last year, what was that 2-14? Ouch.
Oh is my step son going to be mad, His beloved Bears were just beat by my Seahawks. 29 to 26 in Overtime. OK OK it isn't regular season, but I am happy.

Jacksonville Jaguars and the Dallas Cowboys! But I used to have a friend that both played for and later was an assistant coach for the Raiders. My son and I were guests when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame so I do have a little soft spot for the Black and Silver.

yep they sucked last yr. lmao   but they're gonna do better this time!
Q: I know a lot of people who like the Raiders who live nowhere near Oakland. So why do they root for them?
Anyway, I'm completely uninterested in college sports.
Raiders! ;D Although I haven't followed them for quite some years and the few games I did watch, they were terrible. :-\
Some teams have an image that people like, so there are Raiders fans everywhere because of that image they project. It might be nice if they win, but they can't do worse than last year, but Al Davis should get out, his 'best by' date was decades ago now.

They definitely have the best colors/logo, in my opinion.
I like the black/silver deal, never liked the logo much though.

But they're bloody pirates!
Pirates in a football helmet, never quite did it for me, but I do like the swords. And the home games are something else, quite the human petting zoo.

Good point. I guess I just really like everything that's got to do with pirates. Except Pirates of the Caribbean and One Piece.
