For the study, 15 undergraduate students, both male and female, were shown photos of faces of 90 men, evenly divided between gay and straight. The photos were taken from Internet personal ads and from Facebook. The study's lead author, graduate student Nicholas Rule, says men were used in this study for convenience, because they have a greater presence on the Internet than women.
Its not only real, its fabulous
flawed science ..
The study showed that 15 students correctly identified self-identified gays on average of 62% of the time, excluding false-positives and the the ones that had incorrectly reported their gay/bisexual tendencies.
"Rule says all the subjects were accurate 55 percent to 70 percent of the time."
it's easy.
gay men all have the same haircut.
No, it's in the expression.
The haircut is a warning sign, the wardrobe is the giveaway.

Priceless.
It's the little details...
Thank you, scientists, for confirming what we already knew!
they should have used all females, it's much harder i think, because we don't all look the same, and some identify as bi-curious. gaydar is real, but i still think their test is flawed scientifically. like Pica said most gay guys do have the same hair cut. :D
