Eshaghian's film shows interviews with women who were gay men before
submitting to gender-reassignment surgery. It was not hard to find and
interview her subjects; says Eshaghian, "It's a very public
phenomenon."
Continued the filmmaker, "These sex changes are legal and are endorsed
by the leading clerics. It's embraced.

Are any women being forced to become men? That would really be something in that culture, wouldn't it? I'm thinking there must be some selective enforcement, as in this is really just a way to castrate and humiliate gay men. Otherwise, what happens when two people of the same sex are in love and both forced to change sex but remain sex partners afterwards? And what of bisexuals? Are they forced to change sex over and over again?
