Title: Major Hysto/T Concern
Post by: Nero on August 31, 2008, 03:42:06 AM
Ok, my health's improving and you know what that means - I'll most likely be able to transition in the nearer future.
So guess it's about time for another round of 'Nero Panic' interrogations.

I have this thought plaguing me at night. It concerns my uterus and whatever other parts that go with it.
I'm not much on biology, so bear with me as I try to crudely explain my fear.

Ok - you know how the uterus (or something up there) does flip flops during an orgasm. I understand the need behind this action is the uterus or whatever catching the swimmers. And plus all the stuff up in there perform additional major action during and after orgasm.

I can't imagine what the Dance of the Seven Winds will be like post-gutting and/or post-atrophying.
I mean this dance was choreographed by the gods themselves and now key steps will be missing.
And I will be dancing with atrophied feet.

I've always wondered that too. I briefly considered if I would want a hysto operation for a while seeing as how I don't think I'll ever have any desire to bear children, but since I can't be 100% I wouldn't go through with the operation unless I had to for health reasons.

I'm hoping someone else who knows more could enlighten us on this; I'm quite interested! :D

I dunno.  :-\ I want 2 get a hysto b/c I dont wanna get tumors ans stuff.  I wanna live 4 along time.  I dont wanna die young.  I been on T 4 two yrs & everybody. even my doc says I gotta get a hysto within 3 yrs if I dont wanna get tumors or cancer so I wanna get it.  I just got 2 find the right doc & the right time 2 to do it but I'm gonna.

I've been told (and have read) that cancer, tumours, cysts etc. are not always a given. Yes, they're more likely to happen once your on T, but its not definitely going to happen.

I figure since vegetarians statistically, get cancer less than meat-eaters... I might just even up to the odds of normal folks XD

Well, Nero, I just had a total hysto.  I'll let you know.  So far I haven't erm, taken care of business, to know if there's any change.  Personally I don't think there will be much difference.  From experience I know that the orgasms I've had when with a male partner have NOT been as good as the ones I have alone...

Jay, very happy to be parts-free  ;D

My SO had a hystorectomy and it did not affect that at all. Still the same,  but without the pain from all the fybroids.

Interesting. My doctor told me that the risk is no higher being on T. As long as you get check ups even though they suck, until you have a hysto, you will be fine.

Nero, it's your pal Mister here, ready give you his reviews on the varous perormances he's seen of the Dance of Seven Winds.  There's been some cast and crew changes throughout the years, but here's the scoop...

Pre-T.  Very enjoyable at the time, yet was no longer moved after um, leaving the theater.

On T.  Now THIS is how it ought to be!  There was a change in choreography from the previous incarnation of the production, but my word!  It's like the pre-testosterone production was in a high school auditorium and this is broadway, baby!

Post hysto.  Seemed like everyone was a bit hesitant when first taking the stage.  But once they got back into the step of things, it was an amazing show.  Sure, the set was lost in a, um, flood or something but the performance was so incredible, no one noticed it was being watched on an empty stage.
