Today, the Log Cabin Republicans endorsed John McCain for president. They did this in spite of the fact that the GOP platform is as anti-gay as it has ever been. The party has officially declared that gay and lesbian people are "incompatible" with military service. They have called for a constitutional amendment to outlaw marriage equality.
But, never fear. The Log Cabin Republicans have found 12 Republicans who are against California's Proposition 8, which would ban marriage equality in the state.
