Title: How to avoid being discover trans
Post by: Secretgirl on September 11, 2008, 09:50:04 AM
I am currently studying as with my legal female name in Adult education for low mental skill adults. Other students do not know that I am trans. I dress female and avoid using my voice. Still I think that occasionally somebody see that I am trans. Have anybody hints for me?

So what if they do?  You're not doing anything wrong.

Hi SecretGirl:

Please don't let your voice slow you down, Go out and use it even if it isn't the best!

Just be yourself, be friendly and if anybody figures out that you're transsexual
hopefully it will be after they've already decided that you're a nice person.

Also remember that some bio-females have deep voices as well.  Recently I was standing in line overhearing a phone conversation that went on and on.  The whole time I thought it was a guy behind me and when I finally turned around it was a woman.  So be yourself!

Perhaps I was unclear. I intended to say that go to school for adults that are behind their studies/ have a low educational skill level. I am not mentally defected. However I not genius either. After first weeks I  am a last person whom near somebody wants to sit.  Many other students look me as they have had noticed something.

Now I have seen that some older people look at me weird. Perhaps they know or just see that I am not ''normal''.

Hi Secretgirl hon, the voice is very important at least just as important as your appearance if you are going  pass muster with the folks you associate with everyday. I was lucky that I had a half way voice, I am only a small person so I never realy had a very deep voice. the mode of exercises I used to bring my voice up to a higher feminine pitch I just did mostly by humming tunes to myself, I could also hum tunes no mater where I was without bringing much attention. Below is a you tube video of voice training, I liked it, I thought it was pretty good way to train your voice.

You could try Voice training? or even surgery? or just keep working on your voice yourself?
