I'm not on T and I practically already have an adam's apple. It does nothing good for my voice, though.

Pretty much my larynx just sticks out.

Not on T, but I'm pretty sure this doesn't happen except 'maybe' in very rare cases.

Lol everyone has an adam's apple, mens are simply more prominent than womens.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think T would suddenly make your adam's pop out of your skin. It can do wonders, but not miracles.

I wish it did though. I've always liked prominent adam's apples....

it makes them grow thoug.  same as guys going through puberty...  little kids look the same, then they grow adams apples.

T makes your voice deepen. For this to happen your vocal chords need to grow. If they grow enough it can make an adams apple.

Yeah I have one. My mother thought I was getting a goiter when it was growing. On T 3.5 years. Can't remember when it grew - somewhere in the first year I think.

Smaller one but a lot depends on how much working out I have done. T helped me for sure.

Well Dennis says yes so I'm gonna go with him. Am I the only one who can't stand Adam's apples? They look so foreign. Like a little tumor popping out of the middle of your neck. Not to mention an obvious weakness if you ever got in a fight, not that I plan to but, yeah. Ever prodded a guy's Adam's apple? Apparently it hurts like a bleep.

I like how they look. Not sure why, to be honest, but I've always wanted one. Most likely won't happen though, since none of my closest male relatives have one.

That detail probably applies to everything with T. Closer you are to when you went through puberty, the greater chances you have of developing bio-male characteristics.

Dunno about that - I was 42 when I started T. I think it's really an individual thing and genetics probably play a large part.

I've been on T roughly 6 months now, and my voice is a good baritone and still changing... or at least squeaking.... My larynx feels thicker at one point, and I'm not sure if that's a forming adam's apple or what... however, I'm not too worried. Most guys' adam's apples aren't too prominent, and I really never even thought about my lack of one prior to going on T.

I just noticed, in the last 2-3 days my neck is definitely getting "thicker". The larynx is showing a lot more than it was a few months ago, so I'm crossing my fingers. I don't want a huge adams apple, but a baby one wouldn't hurt :)
