Title: Bra Sizing
Post by: markie on September 20, 2008, 12:45:31 AM
My chest is a 42 above and below the breast and it says I should add 4 inches to that to make it a 46 correct?

However I can wear a 38D with no problems, it is a little tight.

I just got back into wearing clothes again and my body size has gotten bigger and I am now confused.

I have a size 7 Le Beauty breast forms right now.

the cup size and the band size are sometimes interchangeable. you can wear the 38 band size with a larger cup size.
but you really should wear your correct band size and have your cup correctly measured.

I did an internet search for "Bra Calculator" and it gave me links where I can just punch in the numbers and get the correct size I need.

I too have found any number of ways to measure bra size. I've come to the conclusion that the only thing that really matters is comfort and for me that's most dependent on the band size, and each bra manufacturer seems to be different. :D
