I've got my doctor's appointment for HRT on the 13th of October!
Awesome....After over one year for me, I am amazed at my body's response to the HRT....Just be ready to cry for whatever reason, at any time ;-).
Seriously though, I am happy for you. It's a big step.
Oh, I wish. How long did it take for the emotional lability to hit you, Christine?

That is so true. :D
Seriously though, congratulations, Maddie
I'm so excited! So my emotional mastery should fall by the wayside eh? That's a small price to pay.

Odd really i cried alot before HRT and now i have alot more stability on the emotional aspects of my life.
Personality must play its part i guess.
Yeah, I was always a bit emotional, more than the average guy even before. Its funny how it happens though, I will get some news that triggers it - usually having to do with someone close to me, then I'll cry and it stops in a minute. If I have a funny friend over, they can usually get me happy again. Its funny, because two close freinds of mine, the female understands these little "outbursts" but my male freind just gets out of our way....
Kate, I think it hit me a few months into the HRT...
HRT for me is teh suck... the physical changes are happening wayyyy too fast, especially the muscle atrophy (misery when you're as overweight as I am). I've seen NO mental changes at all, and I guess that's what I was most hoping for. My treatment-resistant depression and emotional frigidity are still here.
Congratulations Maddy! Party for you!
I never had any emotional change or much phisical change and i have been on mones for 10 months.
Cangrat`s on the opointment,,
ALRIGHT MADDIE :-* Congrats kiddo!!!!!
That's great news, Maddie! Congratulations!
