Hey Guys,
Well, I went through the rest of my clothes this weekend that I had in storage and I was debating what to do with them. Ok, I dressed nice as a guy, most of this stuff is designer clothing. I REALLY, REALLY hate to give this stuff to Goodwill so I figured I would put a note on here and if there are any FTM's that could either pick them up or pay to have them shipped, they are yours free of charge.
I have a lot of stuff, the problem for most guys I know that I would give my stuff to is that I'm really short (5'5", 140) and I've had my pants and shirts tailored. I have like a 27" or 28" inseam but some of these are even 29" and 30". I also have some belts, a few pair of shoes (brand new Vans, 1 pair brown dress shoes, size 7 guys, 1 pair black Bruno Magli Dress boots size 7 guys, 1 pair Dolce & Gabbana black dress boots size 7 guys).
I have about 40 dress shirts and I think they are all designer. Prada, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Emporio Armani, Burberry, etc., etc. Some of the shirts are french cuff (about 25% of them) and I think I have a few sets of decent cuff links too (I gave the really nice ones to my brother, sorry).
I also have several suits, Dolce (cost $2,000 when I bought it new), Armani and Huge Boss. I think the size is like 38 short and the pants are hemmed to 27" or 28" inseam or so. They are like 33 or 34 waist but those can be tailored.
So, if you are anywhere in the California/LA area and either want to make a trip or even fly in if you don't pay more than a few hundred for flying, I have $$$$$ worth of clothes I need to get rid of. If no one wants them, I'm going to go to the LGBT center here in LA and see if any FTM's want them.
So, let me know!!! I hate to waste good clothing, they cost me a fortune and I can't do anything with them now! Meghan
Do you have any pictures of the clothes?
I'll take some and post them tomorrow night Clam, I have to run to electrolysis :)
Thanks meghan. :) What are the waist sizes on the pants?
I'm extremely tempted to take you up on this offer, it helps that we're almost the same size. Not to mention a free suit = pennypincher in me going insane.
But the truth is I have enough money to spend on clothes myself and there are a lot of guys who need them more than I do.
This is an awesome thing you're doing Meghan. :)
Unfortunate. I'm a tiny boy. :P Good luck finding some takers! I'm sure you'll have no problem.
I wear a boy's... medium? You heard me. Boy's. I can't fit anything men's. I wear a boy's shoe in size 3! Goodness gracious, may the Gods have mercy on my tiny soul. :icon_eek:
Wow, wish I lived in the area...but I'm really small too, and I would rather someone else have them who would have more use for such clothes and who could wear them without too much tailoring.
what size are the dress shirts? all i have are Tshirts. >_< do you hav any black ones?
Definitely interested! Specially in a suit. I'm 5'4-5'5 145-150 so we seem to be pretty close to the same size. Also in California, love to see some pics!
After the guys above me pick out anything they'd like, if you have anything left send me a message.
I'd def. be interested.
You doing this is awesome.
I along with all of us guys def appreciate it!
Thank you.
Thankyou Megham unfourtunaltey I am to bigger guy! But this is a really nice offer!
QuoteI wear a boy's shoe in size 3!
Gasp! I sometimes wish I was that small so I didn't have to pay tons of money for trainers!!
Great idea Meghan! It's very kind of you to offer.
I myself am a bit too tall for the clothing (5.11), but the thought is much appreciated.
I'd be willing to pay to ship the shirts -- how much do you need?

It's not fun being this small. I'd really rather be at least the smallest men's shoe size and clothes size so I can get adult stuff.
I can't find any packer harnesses that fit my tiny waist.
Plus, I'm not a "real man" being that small. I'm 5'3", shorter than 90% of girls I meet.

I know mango offer one where you actually alter the size of the harness. If that helps?
Dude I know alot of men who are small guys and they get on fine it doesn't seem to bother them at all.

OOH. That does help. Thanks.
Argh, I live in Ohio. So many nice clothes, all out of reach . . . They are probably a little bit too large anyway, but still.

aww man... Is there any way possible I could pay you to ship the clothes to Texas, cause California is a longgggggg drive, and I am broke. To buy a plane...ticket.
i know i'm not ftm but if those clothes came close to fitting me, i'd have 'em. Judging by meghan now, meghan then would undoubtably have style,

yeah
and taller, and have wider shoulders and have larger feet.
wow, do you have anything left? It sounds like perfect size for me and i'm in san diego
I haven't given any of it away yet but Eryk and Joey are close and I promised I'd give them some. What I'd like to do is take some pictures this weekend (work got really busy) and then put them on here so you all can see. The Hugo Boss suits are like 34" (that was my heavy period, lol) but I have a brown Dolce & Gabbana that's like 31" I think. Most of the slacks are black, most are Emporio Armani. The waists are typically 30" - 32". The shirts are all button up, really nice. Lol, I was a pretty sharp dresser as a guy, had to fit a certain image if I wanted people to think I was a certain way, lol. The shirts are S and M in Armani so the necks are probably like 14" or 15" on most. Most of the shirts are probably like 32"-33." I'll take pics and post this weekend.
On another note, it would be a cool trend to see people do the same thing I'm doing. MTF's, post your guy clothes on here instead of going to Goodwill. It doesn't seem like most FTM's I know really had a lot of "girl" clothes, so I'm not sure of the match there, but let's start thinking about ways to help each other ;D
I would give my old "girl" clothes away but I dont think I actually have any to be honest.. will look!
i do have some girl pants.... >_> *scurries to MTF forum*

I was thinking about the exact same idea, but you beat me to the punch ;D, shame though that I do not have any before clothes.
If nobody takes the larger Boss suits, I'd pay postage. I'm about a 32-34 waist (32 in jeans, but seems to be 34 in dress pants). A bit concerned that you were smaller up top than I am. I take a 15 1/2 - 32 shirt. Same with any shirts left over. But I want the other guys to get first pick.
I can buy my own work clothes, but it'd be cool for a legal aid lawyer like me to have designer stuff :)

Damn that sucks. I would have loved one of her suits! I would have had to drop the hem, but the 33/34 waisted ones would have been perfect!

1 pair Dolce & Gabbana black dress boots size 7 guys.
If no one takes you up on these, I'd love to see a picture as they might fit and I'm a total boot junkie :)
