Title: Hormone Creams
Post by: shychristine on October 08, 2008, 04:57:29 PM
I think that the second thing that gives a crossdressers away other then their make up, is their legs.
whenever I wear a skirt or shorts my very male legs give me away ( I keep my legs hairless all ways).
I am thinking of using some leg and Butt cream.
Has any one ever used Hormone Creams and if so how long before you see the effects?

Hi shychristine..

I regret you would probably be wasting your money, yes topical hormones can have an effect, but the amount you need and cost tend to outweigh the results..... :(

....Best results I've had are with topical beard growth inhibitors, but then you are working with a small area and something the solution can get to directly.

So OK.. the butt is fairly obvious, but I'm curious about what aspects of your legs are you hoping to improve?... ::)

Hi Chrissty

I've never heard of a topical beard growth inhibitor. Where do you find this?

Thanks,

Hi shycristine, I'm afraid you won't get much improvement for your $ from topical hormones in that case. To move the fat distribution around you need to eat, exercise (which will have the opposite effect of what you are looking for) or take medication. As you say your CD I don't think any of these will be the answer, so I would recommend you make the most of what you've got....

Now I haven't seen your legs, but most of the problems I see are knees and irregularities in the skin. As you already shave regularly, if you smooth down your knees and ankles, freshen up the skin generally, and use some OTC products to loose definition, ....then you could get smooth, sexier, and more feminine legs.

If you don't already, then I suggest U try....

....Do local dry exfoliating as necessary to soften the thicker skin on your knees and ankles with a sandpaper glove (sliky-mit or similar $2 for 3) If you like the effect they try them on the whole leg.. Then shower to remove the dust.

.....Regularly exfoliate with a mineral scrub in the shower (lets say $4)

.....Use a good moisturiser on the whole leg to plump the fresh skin.( say $5)

The thing is, that even if what I suggest doesn't work, your legs will still feel great so you won't waste a cent.

..and don't forget to check out the Wiki for more ideas.

I don't think I can direct you to this one on the forum , but if you search for "Hormone Beard Cream" you will probably find it on the web.

These creams don't as well work for everyone, and I'm very wary of other product claims from the same source. It has a similar effect to the more common Vaniqua in the US, but is non prescription. It costs around $150 for a tub which they say will last 3 months, but with care I find that I can make a pot last 6 months (by deep pore washing first, drying, then applying a very small amount on my finger tips, rubbing well in, then "just" wetting my fingers and rubbing whats left on my skin into the pores till dry).

My results were an improvement in visible facial stubble growth after close shaving from 4 hours to almost 24 hours, general stubble lightenng and a general improvement in skin condition after about 1 month of use twice a day. After about 2 months the effects levelled out as I am not on other hormones.

The stuff contains anti-androgens, anti-irritant, and estrogen.
