I think I'm a little past the 20 something category but still curious as to what lucky city hosts this cool event for young women and trans folks. 8)
It's in/around San Jose, California
Thanks, San Jose seems to be good place for the gender gifted. I used to live in Santa Cruz in the late sixties. San Jose was that place I passed on the freeway headed back and forth to Berkeley in my van where I would occasionally participate in various civic expressions of incivility directed toward "the man". Ahh, the smell of tear gas in the morning. :)
San Jose back in the 60s was a dirt-wash backwater, the drain of the Bay Area. San Jose now is pretty much the HQ of Silicon Valley, very expensive, lots of very expensive buildings - you'd never recognize the old town. Santa Cruz however remains the same. Same hippies on the same corner more than likely.

Not everyone is 18 to 30. So how do you pull off welcoming everyone?

I think what they meant was "everyone in the community", but you may call and find out to be sure. I merely copied the information that was provided to me.
Thank you Flan Princess! Yes, San jose it is! ;D
