Not that this was surprising, but the Alaska Governor was challenged by gay constituents to recognize National Coming Out Day and Tim Stallard, spokesman for Alaskans Together for Equality, received this blow-off response from Bible Spice's office (The Petrelis Files):

    Dear Tim,

    Thank you for requesting a proclamation designating October 11 as "National Coming Out Day." Unfortunately, your request cannot be granted at this time. If you have any questions please contact the Governor's Office at (907) 465-3500.

I'm hoping Vice Predator Palin's snottiness and disinclination to be inclusive is going to turn off people who are now used to biracial people, gay people, foreigners, etc...
