we live remotely....
therapists that have
any sort of specialization
in gender issues are too
far to travel to, the closest
being over 90 miles away....
so we have opted for an online/phone
counseling service/therapist who seems
to fit the bill....
first appt was yesterday
( i left the house to assure
he had his privacy)
i have since heard him chirping
about "had my first therapy" to
his mates online
it is another "first"...
a huge one....
one that has me breathing
a sigh of relief because now
he has trained, neutral input
and guidance to assist him
in his journey on this path....
tomorrow is homecoming dance
his date flaked on him, but we stilll
went out and got a shirt that makes
his blues eyes sparkle... he looks
very dashing in his dad's suit coat....
just hoping he wont wear his heart on his sleeve
(moms are like that) ::)
