Title: Out of The Norm
Post by: MysteryMachineXM on October 12, 2008, 03:54:02 PM
Hey all, Xavier here. I figured I'd contribute to this section. I tend to be on the ....outside....of normal clothing and fashion. I do wear jeans, but I have a few pairs of normal ones. Most of them are altered in some way. I have one pair that is all signatures and symbols and signatures from various people and places. stitch work with mismatching patterns on purpose. I have a white shirt I made by painting the tire on a car with red acrylic paint and running over it. I own a trench, bondage pants, creeper shoes(Yes, they are literally called Creepers) etc.

I'm also very much into Steampunk, but I don't have the talent nor tools to really do such things. I just wanted to get a feel from here....am I the only one? For me, my clothes reflect me because I'm deff. not a "socially norm" person. Thoughts anyone?

P.S.-Hopefully this is allowed, but here is some steampunk pics for those that don't know....Pics are NOT MINE

...think about the early 1900's explorers mixed with modern technology...

i love steampunk and vintage, during my brief SL stint I hung around a steampunk city. I do not have the money, time or skill to do anything about it. The guy in the long red coat on the far left would appeal to me.
