Title: eQualityGiving's Equality Goals Priorities

Equality Goals Priorities
What are the priorities for achieving the Equality Goals?  What do you think? What can be achieved in the next two years?  (http://www.equalitygiving.org/Equality-Goals-Priorities)
QuoteWHAT A SURVEY SHOWS

A survey conducted by Patrick Egan, Murray Edelman, and Kenneth Sherrill presents new discoveries about LGBT identity, political attitudes, and civic engagement (pdf file). Among the many interesting results, note the priorities for LGBT rights by age (see chart below), as well as by the level of information of the people taking the survey (second chart). The rights that they highlight match the Equality Goals (with the addition of AIDS funding).
There are copyrighted charts there.  Look for where transgender issues fall.

as if we didn't know... =K

I saw the list Karen and I'm not surprised. The problem is that transgender people have been thrown under the bus by HRC and some other organizations. Back when the gay liberation began, it was transgender people who got the ball rolling. In subsequent years we were relegated to the fringes because the mostly white, middle class gay men were more interested in assimilating rather than in struggling for the right of lesbians, bi, trans and even other expression such as butch/femme, effeminate male and genderqueer.
