For years gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, secular and atheist groups have not had the ability to present their views without repercussions. I can understand now that these groups have a voice, they were inclined to "do unto others." It is unfortunate that they resorted to the same tactics employed by conservative and religious groups against them. They did more damage to their cause by behaving the way that they did than engender support. I would urge these groups in the future to conduct their activities with a bit more decorum. After all, it is difficult to take the high road when you're in the ditch.
