Hai back
Hi Polymorph, nice to see you again and you are looking good. 25kilos is nearly 50lbs is it not? Not to good at converting metric to standard measures. But if that's right that is a good deal of weight loss. Just be careful, I had an eating disorder 8 years ago and it took me 6 years to go from 85 lbs to 130lbs now I'm trying to loose five lbs, estrogen can play tricks on you with fat distribution if you don't eat right. I need to loos this pot I have, I hate it. The rest of me is fine otherwise.
Hi Janet sis, you are looking great as well.
Cindy
The second picture doesn't show on my computer, but if it is the same as your avatar, you look fantastic. I should show that to my father and say "Look how much differents hormones can make!" But then again, he'd probably go on about poor lighting or say that you could be a fake or something.
Adrian
Amazing ;D ;D
Do you have bad stretch marks after losing all that weight?

Do you have bad stretch marks after losing all that weight?
actually, yea...they're not too bad anymore, but they're still really noticeable :(

The current success of your transition is largely in part to your past obesity. Adipose tissue is still mitotic and creates a chemical similar in action to estrogen. This is the reason that many obese females begin menstruating 2-3 years younger than the mean. This is also why obese women have a harder time getting pregnant, the steroids in their body are unbalanced, leaning more towards estrogens.
To take it a step further, estrogen is a steroid and is therefore lipid soluble and therefore diffuses more easily across tissues of a body higher in fat content.
What I find interesting is that after beginning HRT you were able to willfully starve yourself. Early estrogen therapy tends to act as a spike to the metabolism because it puts the body in a highly anabolic mode; that is that metabolism is the sum of all chemical processes in the body and shortly after starting estrogen therapy changes in the body occur at a rapid pace, thus increasing metabolism. The effect of deliberate dietary neglect is unknown to me. It's something I need to think about, I'm sure I know the answer somewhere in my head.
There's been a lot of inquiries on these forums as to how to influence estrogen sensitivity. Well, you're an example of one method 8)

you know, i think kleinfelters syndrome also helped a fair bit too :3

also, this is fairly easy to explain... once i started HRT, i actually had a reason to care about my self image... and when i realized how overweight i was, i actually went a bit into overdrive with the weight loss. now i'm having a hard time keeping my weight from dropping, because i've developed a completely different set of eating habits
(or not-eating habits, i should say >_>)
Lol that's pretty kewl.
I'm on an opposite mission, trying to gain weight. 5000+ calories a day. Lots of sodium. I'm actually eating some food right now before my sleeping pill kicks in so I can digest it while I'm asleep. My body seems determined to just convert it into readily available energy though...
Congratz with the accomplishment though, seriously that's amazing.
How did starving yourself effect your hair growth?
Heh... Im doing the same...
Lots of red meat and stew or stuff cause I like... Can barely eat much.

Girl, you're too skinny.
You need red meat AND processed foods like reeses peices and twix.
Don't forget to chug atleast a gallon of water a day. And your pasta!
yea, you don't want to do what i'm doing... i was down to just eating 2 pieces of toast a day for a few weeks, before my psych stepped in >_<
and as for hair change... it's hard to say. The only hair i really have is on my head, and that's still growing fine :)
That's just sooo not fair! You do look fabulous! Ooohhh, the advantages of starting younger!
Dawn
Well I found that there is no possible way I could ever let myself get overweight. Most of my life my normal weight was 115 lbs then i was anorexic for a time, I just wouldn't get to feeling hungry and forgot to eat. That was also a period of "I hate me," time before I started full time. I went down to 85 lbs.
In the past six years since I met Wing Walker my weight slowly creeped up until just this past year, I was up to 134.7 lbs and feeling realy uncomfortable, like I had a Good Year blimp inside my stomach. Even some or the girls at the shelter where I work thought I was pregnant. I went to see my JP and she gave me a diet to follow and some exercise. In two months I went from 134.7 lbs down to 128 lbs and I have no intentions of going any lower. Exercise will get rid of the balance of my distended stomach. 5.7 lbs may not seam like a big deal to some, but on a frame of 5'3" it is considerable enough.
Cindy
Gooking very good....keep it up!!
