Rosie gave $1000 to Dole, $0 to fight Prop 8

There is absolutely no reason for Rosie O'Donnell, who has way more disposable income that most of us peons, to ignore the most important LGBT political battle of the season. As Michael Petrelis reports, FEC records show that Dole received $1,000 from O'Donnell (albeit back in 1999 during her brief presidential run). I can't imagine any lesbian throwing their support to the anti-gay, Bush rubber-stamping U.S. Senator from NC. Perhaps it was to support a woman running for president (a low bar that appears these days to require that one only needs to possess a vajayjay). Michael:
But this year, as in 2000 when CA ->-bleeped-<-s and dykes faced the Knight Initiative, alias Prop 22, that set-back gay marriage equality, Rosie can't cough up a contribution to defeat Prop 8 either.
As it stands today, Rosie has given more to a nasty GOP candidate than she has to an initiative of keen importance to her, her partner and family, and millions of her fans.
I'm pretty sure Rosie does not live in California, but New York and Florida.
