And now the USA has shown the world being (at least partially) the leading western democracy that it has been for many years. Constitutional democracy has again shown to be the best form for legimitive goverment. We can just hope that the new president follows the rule of ethics and reinstitutes habeas corpus fully soon and etc.
Obama will be able to bring change and make America the great country we once were, restore our relationship with the world, and heal the wounds that were created over the last 8 years. I couldn't be prouder in my country, I have faith in America again! ;D

I'm actually hoping he makes the US a better country than it once was.

I think he has already done a great deal to heal this nation's standing with the rest of the world. Most other countries were hard Obama fans and the fact that he has won already amounts to more respect and the re-building of relationships with the world. This is true for our nation itself as well. He has been able to spark hope in more people than we've seen for a generation and him winning only propels us to have more hope and realization that this country can truly start to get back on track. I think he's already done so much for this country, and the world, and I can't wait to see what's next.
I think a congratulations needs to go out to us in the USA, but also to everyone else in the world that also doesn't have to deal with a corrupt, warmongering Bush any longer.
