This seemed like the aprropriate forum for this topic was jsut wondering who all has stumbled across the cogiati and taken at one point or other and what their feelings are concerning it. I first took it 4 -5 years ago when i was still questioning what i was and researching GID. I rember that my first score was an 89 and androd rating class 3. I now know I am a female but i decided to take it again jsut to see if my scores had changed this time i scored 230 classification 4 probable transexual.
Its a total joke that means nothing... but i expect a 'well i scored higher' war to erupt soon where forum members vie to see who am most ->-bleeped-<-...
FWIW, I just got 180 (category 4, probable transsexual)... Makes it sound like a hurricane, doesn't it? This stood out to me as feeling very true:
QuoteYour gender issues are real, and should not be ignored. Neither should you rush into acting on them, however powerful they may feel. You do not fit the full criterion for the rarest classification, classic transsexuality, and so should be cautious, and open to possibilities. You may yet end up undergoing transition, and the path of the transsexual may well be your salvation. Be very careful, but do not ignore your issues.
But then, maybe I was subconciously giving the answers that would result in that "diagnosis?" My date with a therapist can't come soon enough, huh?
lol this test pops up from time to time,
i had a 465 or something i think it was like last year, like you can make an online test and define gender. To be fair i believe the author done it as a challenge to the medical community to make a worthwhile test.
Its all fun though.
It is actually geared more to Crossdressers... as there are no 'I'm female' option in several places and a strong sexual emphasis.
Starbuck,
Yeah I noticed that too... There were points when I wanted the option of "I'm not really interested in crossdressing, but I still feel female."
It's a load of tripe!
I agree with everyones elses opinions ont he cogiati and do not put any personal stock in its results I also noticed its flaws and weakpoints esp thats its only geared toward MtF and not FtM and is very steriotypical. I merely wanted to see what others opinions on the issue where I love to revice massive input on somehting because the more data you have the clearer you can understand an answer.

It's an interesting attempt. Being gg, I took it as a "control" subject. Kind of like testing a computer program for bugs. What I found is that this is geared for anyone born with a penis. There is nothing useful for FtM and nothing for just "I am woman dammit". I scored as androgyne which I found pretty funny, as did my hunny. The questions were pretty stereotypical too. Apparently, because I value my personal space and I don't weep at every dryer sheet commercial I see, I have masculine tendencies. Who knew? LOL
I'm a member of the Uk's first all female airsoft team, we compete against male teams at the highest level, and beat most... oh noes! we all have masculine tendancies! we must all imediately shave our heads and get mastectomies! we are clearly f2m... (note, im the only Trans/is teammember that i know of, (they dont know about me)) Half the team members are more macho than I.... yet we are all women... after game time, we get dolled up and go out to celebrate... nobody would guess we were crawling through mud, and fighting with armed men hours before.. We are women, and nomatter how masculine we are at times, that wont ever change.
Being female is more than femininity, cogatti is a test for how femmy a crossdresser is... it has nothing to dow ith females whatsoever, be they transsexual or natal females.
(ps: girl power ftw)

It's really not meant for FTM's, all the questions involve wanting to be female. I tried to switch my answers so that they would go the other way, but I don't think it works. And besides, that test is way too long.
