Title: Fast metabolism and problems with fat redistribution while in transition
Post by: gina on November 13, 2008, 01:36:46 PM
I was wondering how many of you girls have problems with fat redistribution which of cause helps  us developing nice size breast, hips and buns and with a fast metabolism makes it a  harder to accomplish these wonderful features while on HRT ?

I always had a fast metabolism which in a way is a bleesing health wise but just not working to kindly to help me with the features above. I been on HRT for about 4 years and are somewhat happy with my breast development but there is room for improvement and especially in the bun dept.

Something that also added to the problem of gaining weight is about two years ago after being seriously ill and hospitalized I lost a massive amount of weight, I looked as if I was anorexic and I been working the best I can to put weight back on, but remember I have a fast metabolism which make this difficult to do. (But eventualy gained some and there it stood)

Ok here's what got me into thinking and posting about this.

I seen a vast improvement after recently gaining about another 10 lbs and I tried on a larger bra size a couple of days ago that I had for a while and actually filled it out, which I never was able to in the past and I also noticed that wonderful snug feel on my buns wearing my low rise jeans....  ::) but on a negative point my waist is a little tighter then it was normally which means crunch time again.  :(

I know weight is a problem for bio woman as well but how many of you MtF girls out there are having the same sort of problems as I mentioned ? any tips or secrets ? Please share ....   :)

Sorry, my metabolism has been more of a turtle than a hare...

And while I have had some fat redistribution, my body seems to want more fat to make up for it! ;D

I have the same issues with metabolic rate never could gain weight when I wanted to and still seems to mostly be the case although it does seem since starting hrt that my metabolic rate has slowed down a tad but not to noticeable. Especialy seems hard to gain wieght in the ass and hips so while at least atm ot having to worry about getting fat my body still looks like a stick instead of an hourglass.

I was never very heavy to begin with.  But I am still waiting for the distribution to begin.  8 months HRT, and bustline is so so . 38B  But I suffer from no chemicals.  No Ass At all.  ( Acetole )

I would love to be one of those girls that hates their butt, but i don't even have one.  :'(

I had a good metabolism when I was younger and didn't have much body fat. I was pretty flat-chested and no hips but still looked good in a bikini. Something happened around age 30 and all that changed. Don't know exactly when the D cup happened...

I have a problem with a fast metabolism too. It's not as nice as it sounds! I'm underweight and struggling to gain weight. I'm currently 5'7" and 120 pounds. I can't complain much about my figure I guess. My boobs are a full 32A and growing, I'll probably be a B by spring. I just wish I had more of a butt! What lil fat I do have is going to the right areas, it's just not enough.

When I moved to Santa Barbara by the beach for a year, I was up to almost 130 and looked a lot healthier! Then when I moved to the desert again, I dropped 8 pounds... :( I was happier in SB and more active and I think that helped me gain weight somehow. On the plus side I'm moving to Germany permanently in 8 days and I think I'll be gaining weight again, since I'm so much happier in Europe!

I'm not sure that it would be of any help for you, Angel. But there are techniques available. The best in the USA I understand is in Miami, done by a doctor who's Brazilian (of course!) :) in origin, where fat is redistributed by lipsuction, and then whatever you'd call the reverse of that, from tummy to buttocks.

The techniques requires $$$ and a couple of weeks in what amounts to a pressurized "wet-suit" or "cat-suit" to mould and keep the fat in-place at the start.

The link is a Google-search.

Okay. That is the most disturbing thing I've heard all month.

It seems a bit extreme, lol. Definitely a last resort sort of deal methinks. Good to know it exists as an option though.

I'm convinced stress and environment have a pretty decent impact on metabolism. I'm going to try out the natural route for now. I really think that once im settled down after the move and out and about again, that I'll put on some weight and hopefully get back up to at least 130.
