Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin visited a turkey farm in her home town of Wasilla yesterday to grant the traditional Thanksgiving pardon to one turkey. But as the former Republican vice presidential hopeful took questions from reporters, a farm worker was seen slaughtering other turkeys and feeding the birds into a grinder.

I take it you mean the one the farmer tossed into the grinder.
Old Ted is about to find out the prison is a series of tubes also.
was the turkey defeatherized before being ground? Was it deboned?
Why on earth would anyone grind a turkey? I know about turkey burgers, but I assumed they removed the meat and then ground it.
I'm not sure what the fella is doing.... but that Sarah she's a laugh a minute

I`m pardoning a turky also. No meat on my table. That video is animal crualty in my face. Did you see it kicking wile it was being bled to death.
yeah. when I saw it, I realized it was being bled and not ground.
If I lived alone I wouldn't allow it in my house.
I read the article a couple days ago on BBC. Needless to say, pardons for turkeys, among other many other events, are just theater. It's not going to fix our world's problems, nor does it fulfill a functional request by a citizen, nor is it even a natural or spontaneous act that reflects the particular politican's personality.
The fact that there are other birds being butchered in the background exposes the act for the farce it is. It's not about Palin (there are plenty of substantial criticisms to hit her with) -- this is what you get from any politician that pretty much sticks to the script.
Yeah, the pardon has nothing to do with respect of life or anything. It's just a cute little gimmick for children and yet another way to get a camera pointed at the politician.
