This is the same kind of topic that Ellieka made for MtF's so I thought I'd start one for FtM's (she mentioned it'd be cool if one started one on FtM's)
So, what are three female traits you'll never give up?
My three are probably these
1. The soft spot in me that cries at any kind of sad movie, song or book (I cry more at those than any guy would I personally think)
2. Acting half feminine and masculine when in a giddy mood
3. Wearing jewelry
I'll think of more later lol. And I apologize if I was late and one of these was already made. I just didn't see it if it was already made
Raditz
lol yea, i dont think i'll ever give up my excited giddyness.
1. My love for art. (Such as writing, drawing, painting, sculpting, singing, composing, etc.)
2. My lack of desire for physical activity such as playing sports. (Me + bed + sleep = a good day.)
3. Obsessing about my hair (but being too lazy to fix it).
That's about it.
My love of soft things (like fur lol)
My caring and sensitivity/compassion
My lack of interest in regular sports (do like the extreme sports though)
my love for shopping, obsessing over my hair in the morning, watching what i eat.. thats all i can really think of
LOL I was just thinking about this as I've been avoiding buying Oprah magazine!!
My desire to figure skate (used to take lessons in adult hood; thinking maybe adult ice dance might be nice).
My love of little yappy dogs (I have 2).
My love of long hair, though I think it looks hot on guys. Waiting until I pass 100% before growing it out again.

Thanks Godot! I find this topic in general fascinating.
I like these topics too. It's cool to hear what other traits people have lol. sneakersjay reminded me of one other trait. I love long hair too..that's why I can't pass lol
Guess I'll add a forth. I like Irish Mist and some more treditional feminine drinks lol
Never heard of Irish Mist..is it a beer? er..
It's a liqour. has a flavor kinda like honey/necter and fairly strong. usually drank by the shot. Most prefere it on the rocks I like it straight lol

1. my fashion
2. longish hair (when I'm more passable, long, no ish)

4. women's clothing
5. shoe obsession
6. trusting feelings over logic
7. mostly female friends
8. knitting
9. the list goes on . . .

Probably time to paint the skates black. OTOH They probably don't even fit any more.

1. My enjoyment of sewing, knitting, and other crafts.
2. My loathing of football (American Football, for you non-Yanks ;)) in particular, and team sports in general.

I agree though:
1. Cockroacheaphobia
2. love of yaoi, i know some genetic dudes like it but still
3. love of outrageuos crazy clothing that are random, like 6" platform boots and a leopard shirt with a plaid skirt on stripped pants with lots of fake fur and scarfs. Man, I used to love dressin like that.
1. Knitting (hell I just bought new needles. They're blue shiny metal)
2. Effeminate Gestures (I fake for now because of androgynous appearance)
3. Makeup (see above)

I think I have that exact set. There's something zen-like about knitting.
As for what I'll never give up...
The way I talk. There's something about the way I talk that sounds very girly to me and I don't know how to change it, or if I'm committed enough to do so.
My obsession with fashion. I love designing and making clothes. (this is where knitting comes in, as well as sewing)
My inner fan-girl. I have a tendency to obsess on random shows, music.
Lol. Trust me boys, I know TONS of cis-gendered guys who are all three of those things.

Really.
I have this urge to re-upholster my RV, and that will involve sewing. Do I detect a new sewing machine in my future??

Gender traits are kind of a bunk concept anyway, but that's why the word "typical" was used. One of my best friends, we'll call him Jimmy, knits better than I do.

Really?
1. Excited giddyness!
2. Cuddles after sex
I can't think of another one :-\
1. Empathy with women for those pesky cramps. I've got to be the only boyfriend around who can sympathize on the level that I do. :)
2. Wanting to have kids. I love babies, always will. Hope I'll be able to do it after all this time (2+ years) on T.
3. Attraction to lesbians. This one is not all bad... ;D
1. Well, I'm more communicative than I am competitive. I'd like to keep this characteristic, but there might be a bit more equalization after I'm on T. I used to be pretty competitive when I was younger, but only with regard to things that really mattered to me. I haven't been so competitive in the last decade because I've pretty much dropped out of the human race...
2. I tend to gesture with my hands quite a bit, especially when I'm lecturing a class. But, lol, I picked up this habit from my very straight male partner. I didn't do it before I met him. People tell me that it's a fem habit, but I don't really see it that way. Anyway, lots of men in other cultures gesture a lot. And the U.S. is the great melting pot, right?
3. ???
