I am in the process of realizing a dream. It is the dream of returning to the profession I had to leave when I transitioned. When I left it I was sure I had left it for good. But over time the impossible became possible. The possible became doable. The doable became probable. The probably has become likely. Now the likely has become inevitable. I am right on course to return to my previous profession in August of next year. This is remarkable and makes me feel both excited and afraid.
