Im Krissy and live in Perth Wetern Australia.
Last year I decided I could just no longer live my life as a man and have since been through the process of psychiatrists and blood tests etc. Im transitioning late (Im 39) and have now just started my HRT.
The hardest part so far has been trying to get my wife to understand what Im going through. Thankfully she now understands (through a lot of education) and realizes that its not a mental dis order but something you are born with.
My friends and work collegues are very supportive of me so in a sence Ive sorted outed myself well before.
I have no idea whether this is the correct way to deal with people, but personally its working for me as Im going to need as little conflict in my life as I transition.
