Will the elected fundnut wankers stop it already? Look at this Dominionist crap -- Jim DeMint thinks that the newly opened Capitol Visitor Center in DC -- a public building -- isn't adequately filled with references to God.
Protests by conservative lawmakers led architects to promise to add "In God We Trust" as the national motto and to engrave the Pledge of Allegiance in the new $621 million Capitol Visitor Center. Sen. Jim DeMint, a South Carolina Republican, had threatened to delay Tuesday's opening of the marble-and-stone center that took seven years to build at triple the original cost.
...Despite winning a months-long battle to highlight the importance of religion in American life, DeMint said the center still misrepresents American history by downplaying the faith of the founding fathers and other prominent figures. "The current Capitol Visitor Center displays are left-leaning and in some cases distort our true history," DeMint said. The center's "most prominent display proclaims faith not in God, but in government."
that took seven years to build at triple the original cost.
This is what should outrage people. Just think of the 'bailout' (I like theft better, but still) and ask yourself if its going to come in at triple the cost too *I betcha' * and wonder if these morons could run a model train set.

"Left leaning" they said? Just
who was president during the last seven years? Oh wait! It must be Clinton's fault... unless they can find a way to blame Obama.
No, it was all Clinton's fault. LOL. Didn't you hear Bush snivel the other night that all the economy stuff was the fault of things done BEFORE he got there? Priceless.

Well, ya, he's partly right. I remember when the economy was put on this course back in 1989 when Reagan deregulated the banking industry.
