Tried but I don't like the monthly expense.  I got a ladies electric razor that doubles as a epliator.  Works good and I can used it whenever.  The epilator past I still have not gotten the hang of.  I don't like the length that it has to be for that parts to work.  And I hate waxing.

Nair works fine for me.  Epilators are too painful.  Have to go and nair my body now.  Dylen

Ditto. Takes about 20 min for my legs, another 15 for me chest. Then, there's the face and neck, and arms...

Try Magic Power.  it's usually in the ethnic section of the supermarket / drug store.  Marketed for African American males who can tend to get in-grown hairs on their faces from shaving.  A lot gentler than nair (since it's made for the face).

Tried that and got a chem burn.  I would love to find something to not shave all the time.  Laser and Electro are great but expensive.

I agree with almost everyone else. I don't like it. I can't stand the smell, it doesn't really work very well for me and I don't like what it does for my skin. I use an epilater. When I started it hurt badly but the more I use it the less it seems to hurt.

Nair razor 2 days later do it again. Waxing by far the most efficient.Take several times but the amount of time between increases and the amount of hair decreases. After reading the post about electrolysis and laser I am inclined to think that wax is faster and maybe less painful. Probably less expensive also. I started out with very thick hair and now below my knees practically no hair grows. All the rest is finer and the amount is maybe 15-20% of what I started out with. :) Yes it still hurts but to be smooth for easily 3 weeks and than be able to wait another 5 is awesome. I grew out my beard for a week and had it waxed ouch...three weeks later did it again the hair was finer and less dense. Stopped because of the expense. This time I will have it waxed then I will use an epilator.I'll keep you all posted.

Nair do re-useable cold wax strips which work a treat ...

The formula seems to get better and better.

Did my legs, bikini line, and underarms in preperation for Xmas (and revealing "party clothes" ...  ;D ...) with just five strips out of a pack of twenty which cost £5, that's $8 ... $2 for the session.

Only negative is getting the sticky residue off your skin, but hair free for at least a month.

(Five years on hrt + finasteride seems to get rid of male pattern body hair far more effectively than any removal product ... and did I use to be hairy !)

i think waxing is the best idea to avoid that, but i heard if you shave that area regularly, you should get used to it, and the hair will soften
I shaved for years and the hair nubs just got worse....waxing is by far the best answer.

I was not satisfied with Nair or other chemical hair-removal products. I have used home laser remover (epila) plus razor for about 2 years. Hairs still grow, but they are usually unnoticeable. But I shave when I am to go out in full dress. Even in winter, I shave at least once per week.

Burn Burn Burn

I avoid the stuff like the plague.

Either wax or epilate.  Sore at first but the hair soon weakens and no chemical burns.

I can do my legs in about 20 minutes.

I think the razor is best also, but still working with the bumps. I am trying shaving everyday, just like you would your face, hoping the rest of the body gets on board, with NO RASH. I will let you know how long it takes it has been about 2 weeks now it seems a bit less on the privates, definetly less on the chest.
