Living in San Francisco has taught me to not only be tolerant and accepting of those who live alternative lifestyles, but rather to be vaguely inquisitive about them, to the point of being rude or blunt. But this is San Francisco, so there is no such thing as blunt sexuality. I've seen grown men and women, full-on-nude style, masturbating, in public, to their heart's content. That's why I have no scruples about discussing our friendly neighborhood transgender. Sex changes are not normally at the top of the list of things on my mind (or anywhere on that list, actually), but thanks to our friendly, neighborhood internet, I was forcibly subjected to their whims.
