Title: 13 Years Ago
Post by: Mario on July 31, 2006, 10:40:26 PM
This was me 13 years ago with Mariah.  I think I'm going to let my hair grow out like that again.  Only this time with a 5 O'Clock shadow.

Hi Marco:

Thank you for sharing your photo.  Well...I don't see that woman in your new photo of course ;), but I'm sure many things have remained the same with you, such as the love and dedication for your children.  And my gosh, the wee one is adorable, of course she must be a beautiful young lady by now...right?

I don't know about the hair...I think you just look perfect the way you are now, but hey that is only my opinion and not a tinkerbell's law or anything like that...

take care sir,

tinkerbell

Jaded,
Nope. It's natural. Do you think I would pay for that? all my like people have asked me if it is a perm. Though I'm not sure how that would look on me now. I was younger.

Thanks Tinkerbell. I know you are trying to make us not in our 20's anymore people feel good. But it works.

I would recommend keeping your hair as it is now.  In you recent picture, you definitely looked like a guy, but in the above picture, it's difficult to tell if it's a man or woman.  Probably due to the hair being as poofy as it is.

Melissa,
It probally will have to stay on the shorter side. It is just too short right now, so I have to let it grow out some. I will be putting up a new picture in a day or two.

If it means anything I have seen (unmistakable) guys with similar hair as that Marco. Just appearance wise kind of cute ;) BUT, I'm a sucker for long hair so meh.

Marco....

Can you arrange for the long hair and stubble...... and look like Aragorn (Viggo Mortensson) in Lord of the Rings.

Ok...I am off for a cold shower.

Buffy,
That was a compliment right? I think I know who you are talking about. Just not a big Lord Of The Rings fan. Not sure why. I too like my hair a bit longer.

Thanks for pointing that out Kimberly. I think it can be long as long as I have enough stubble.

Melissa,

I don't know. What do you think? A compiment or not. I think you don't like longer type hgair on guys. I think it matters on who. Some guys look good with long hair, and some don't.

   Sheila18,

I thank you  for what you said. Just for that I will go for it just to see.

I don't know, Marco... I'm a big advocate of short hair, and I gotta tell ya, you look better now, at least from the pic you had up before. I think the long hair might just result in people confusing you for a woman again, and you might have the danger of accidentally growing a mullet... I don't know.

Your daughter was very cute. Reminds me... damn, I want kids. Guess there's plenty of time for that.

Thanks for the coment Rafe. I will just have to see hoe it goes with a 5 o'clock shadow and all. Yes, Mariah was very cute and has grown up to be very pretty. I will have to put up a recent photo of her.
Kids are great though no matter what.

Yes, a compliment.  I also think it matter on whom has the long hair.  I've seen hot guys with long hair and some gorgeous ones with very short hair.  Personally, I like shorter hair on you, but if you decide to grow it out and don't like it, then you can always cut it off.

That is a very good point Melissa.I think I will do exactly that. See how it goes being longer and cut if it does not suite me anymore. Now are you saying you are giving me a compliment?

I was saying that Buffy had given you a compliment.  Argh, nevermind.  All I said was I liked how you looked in your last picture.  I thought it fit your voice well.

I will be putting a new picture up later on today. Took it last night with the "new" camera. I have to go out later and buy a usb cord to download it off the disc.

Marco:

More important than looks to pass for a guy and I don't mean a whimpy guy, is attitude dude.
Make a decision and be done with it, man.  Chauvinistic?   No, manly yes.   If you want to call your attention as to wheather you are a man (real man) or not  you got to get the attitude down.  Men are more heavyly scrutanized  than women.  If your attitude is right they won't care if you were born a woman or transgendered, take my word for it  and take it to the bank brother.
So leave you hair long or cut it, who cares just make the decision and stick with it. Period.
over & out, Sheial18
