i don't get the channel but i'm seriously interested in knowing who it is since the doctor has already regenerated 11 times, and would like to see this play on longer than the 12 cycles time lords are given, it would be a shame to lose a gem of a sci ifi show like this one.
star trek, imo, is the only thing that even comes close to DW in American television, BUT i only speak for myself. i give DW credit, as it is the first sci fi show my wife will watch with me. ;D
my mate at the bbc told me a few months ago that the new dr was going to be patterson joseph
Yeah, Variety announced it a few months ago I thought.
Someone i know (a girl) loves David Tennent as the doctor, i'm don't think she is going to happy about him getting replaced
i found a you tube video that has Paterson Joseph in the opening credits, but i'd rather have it confirmed by BBC before jumping to conclusion, i'd like to know how they'll explain the skin color change, not to mention according to someone else each one of the doctors regenerative cycles is suppose to last 1000 years not a hundred or a year, which would make him 9003 not 903. 09 and 10 promise to be very interesting if it is PJ, thats for sure!
To my knowledge, they have not mentioned the 13 doctor limit since the new series started. So much has changed. I have been wondering if becoming the last of the time lords lifted the regen limit or some such. You know they absolutely WILL find a way to remove the limit at some point. DW FOREVER!!!!!!!!one1111
OK, its fiction, you can change the rules as you go.
How many times did the guy from Friday the 13th come back, after being cut into little bits? Yeah, if it will make money (thought I don't know how) they can change it anyway they want. Like people who watch TV have long term memory anyway.
So Matt Smith is the new Doctor.
I think it will be interesting to see a relative unknown do it, precisely because no one will know quite what to expect...
Though if things carry on at this rate, my 10 year old cousin's dreams to become the 12th Doctor may be realised. :D
His hair is... uniquely fascinating. ;D
so much for my inside source... they hired skeletor.
