Title: Alternative Mens Fashion?
Post by: kestin on January 21, 2009, 11:27:26 PM
I... like to dress oddly. Like retro oldschool mixed with punk, victorian, hippie with various other broad colours and styles. One of my favourite brands (which I would so buy lots of if I could afford it) is WORLDMAN. http://worldbrand.co.nz/collections/M_SS08.php (http://worldbrand.co.nz/collections/M_SS08.php)

Other than them, I can't find much of any other male alternative fashion brands. Anyone got any good links?

Looks good! I did have a search but couldn't really find anything except goth wear!

Why dont you throw diffrent sorts of clothing together?

lol, well yeah I already do pretty much (op-shopping/thrift stores are win) but I enjoy shopping, and looking at clothes and sometimes I'd just like to see the kind of things I like in one place, like WorldMan.

i like what they have, I would go down that route if I had the money, male but not restrictively male - sometimes even playfully male.

except the lime green dickie and flasher look, will never catch on.

With the pink shoes.  That's a fashion felony for sure.

Well then get it. Although if they are charging allot then it should include a purple sun up on the shoulder and shining down. And the clowds should have a silver lining  :)

This sounds really silly but... just do what you're comfortable with.  If it happens to be "exotic" (not to say you would do any exotic thing, but one that you like and that suits you), so be it.

Besides, the world is too boring already.

Marc Jacobs was wearing a kilt and boots for his show this past week.

Given the picture is taken upside-down, you kind of look like a (US) football referee.

I honestly have to wonder if Micheal Keaton was wearing any particularly sexy mens underwear (http://www.nuwear.com/) under those striped pants.  It just goes with the character.  Or when he was playing the Joker for that matter...
