I know. It is just soo obvious. They even both have names that start with P! That is what alluded me to the posibility. I mean Pica is only like a step away from PAtrICk.

Hmm...can Pica speak with an American accent?  Because I'm pretty sure I've heard ol' Pat speak before and I don't think he was British...It's time for another vid, Pica!  We must test this theory!

By the Power of Grey Skull, I have the POWER!!

I used to collect the action figures from He-man. Loved that stuff.

Me and my daughter watch Pucca on Sunday mornings.
I used to watch transformers. Grimlock was my fravorite.

The toons I end up watching regulalry are the Avatar and some futuristic league of super heroes type programme with superman and this weird android robot dude, not to mention a bunch of others. Not sure why I keep seeing it. Just happened to be in the lounge with the TV on at the same time every week...

That there is the Legion of superheroes.

They come back in time to hang out with supes.  Sometimes supes goes into the future and hangs out with them

In one of their incarnations, they had this kid named UltraBoy.  I think he had most of superboy's powers, but he could only use them one at a time.  So if he was using his strength, you could kill him.

I used to have hangovers like that.  If I used my eye powers to see, then I couldn't hear anything, or, at least, not understand what I was hearing.  If I used my mighty ear power, then I couldn't really see anything.

UltraIdiot.

I like the classics - underdog, popeye, bugs bunny, daffy the duck, roadrunner, marvin the martian (favorite!).

I remember as a child running in on saturday mornings early (the only morning I had no trouble getting up early LOL....) and turning on the tv. This was back when tvs still had tubes in them, so you would get the sound well before the picture would come on (I would look thru the little holes in the back of the tv and watch the tubes begin to glow). If I got up early enough i'd catch the end of the farm market report (seriously!) where they would give futures prices on farm products. THEN the comics would start, and i'd be in heaven for a couple of hours until they went off. Then I had to wait until the next saturday again.

My daughters like the new stuff. I will admit to watching spongebob with them from time to time.

My niece is a big Sponge Bob fan. But since she's gotten married she's rather closeted about that.

Me, I'm old school....Bugs Bunny, Speed Racer, Gigantor, 8 Man etc.  ;)

I haven't decided whether I should prefix this posting with an LOL or just keep quiet about the whole thing. When I was a kid TVs were rare and a novelty. I remember one in which the CRT was so large it was mounted vertically. The picture reflected to the viewer off a hinged mirror. Screens were commonly circular. All transmissions were in black and white. I Love Lucy was still in the future.

My family did not own one. We had a large console in the living room that contained our radio (AM and shortwave) and our record changer (78 rpm). Later we add an FM converter. I too listened to the farm reports--on WLS, the Prairie Farmer Station--which also introduced me to the Sons of the Pioneers. Morning brought the Breakfast Club with Don McNeil, aimed at housewives and featuring a march around the breakfast table. For variety, I'd listen to the Polish Language station. My favorite kids' show was Straight Arrow, about a rancher, who in time of trouble would enter a secret cave to become the Indian, Straight Arrow. Together with his sidekick, Packy, he fought injustice.

I remember at least one New Year's, we listened to the celebration in London on the BBC, so us children could join in and still get to bed on time.

As I grew I listened to baseball games (all afternoon games) with the announcer, Bert Wilson. I pictured him broadcasting away games by sitting in the empty home stadium, reading and adding color to the teletype reports.

Nostalgically,
S

i don't know. i'm not used to it - don't normally see people talking about me.
i just thought it was odd, considering the focus of the website, that they would do that.

This was the context.

"i don't agree with how he says androgynes have a mental problem. Maybe we think differently, but I wouldn't say it's a 'problem', per se."

I think if they had agreed with me, i wouldn't have been a 'he'.

could be. besides the fact, it seems strange to think to call you 'he' when you look so girly in that video.
