how long after srs did you have your first sexual attempt??was it worth it? or very anxious?
I lasted 6 weeks ........ DUMB! (But no damage.) I was scared stiff .... wait, that doesn't sound right! The first time was "an experience", the second time was FUN LOL!
Mine was about four months :)
Need i say more?

Yah, about 4 months AFTER Dr. Meltzer fixed what Dr. Chettawut left undone (and I do appreciate that Dr. Chettawut at least did no harm...)
It was a 9 month gulf though, all things considered.
=K
Ten months for me ;D, but you shouldn't wait that long if you don't have to. You should be quite ready after only three months. ;D

I had my first sex with a guy about 13months after my surgery, had a labia plastic about 3months after my srs so I was sore, I was anxious, nervous and tense at the time that it would go ok, the guy knew my situation, he was very gentle, but the nicest thing of all, was what he said, he couldn'd tell the difference, I was a real woman, being excepted and treated as a woman, that was the nicest part, the sex was important to him, unimportant to me, thats guys for you.

um, i know it was shortly after -- maybe a month? I know that's very bad, although it was with a girl and was very careful... I still had pain and things were sensitive, so it wasn't as fun as it is now. I haven't slept with any men since surgery; not that guys don't ask to sleep with me, but I'm not really interested in guys. I might try it for an experiment, but I'm in no rush. And I've had a lot of other things going on in my life, so I haven't been with a woman either. And my last gf was more interested in me doing things to her, rather than he doing things to me or with me -- we've broken up months ago, and it was frustrating to have the parts but having someone who really had no interest in them. She's more into men, and with women she tends to like things done to her, and her not doing much back.

I am also interested in the success of post op M to F operations and how many people managed to get sensation or orgasm. In the U.K the operation isn't always presented fully and the clitorus isn't always formed properly for orgasm or sensation. What are the statistics worldwide? where is the best place to go for the best surgery results?
Through a remarkable feat of self-restraint, I refrained for an entire six weeks.
I was more than a little nervous so the first time was more scary because it was all unknown. The second time (a few days later) I learned what orgasm was. In the three and a half decades since then I have been easily orgasmic and much more sensitive than most GG's.
My surgery was done by Dr. Biber in 1974.
It was 9 months for me. I could have before, but I forced myself to wait as long as I could.

I was all healed up and all the swelling dissipated after three weeks and had my first orgasm, no vibrator, no hands. Just by stimulation of sensitive areas of my body. I was ready for physical sex, but I am still a virgin 4 years later. Dr, Brassard and I don't think he has ever seen anyone heal as quickly as I did before.
Cindy
IS there a surgeon in the U.K that would do a good job?
Like you Cindy, I have had lots of orgasms from about 4 or 5 months after but I'm still a "Virgin". I am in a relationship that I'm will not cheat on. I have no plans on a man in my future.
It's the similar here Sheila. I got married to Wing Walker when I was five years into transition, so it wasn't just for the sex, I could do without the physical sex, For the both of us it is more for intimacy and companionship. I do love the difference in the orgasms, I am human after all, but investing in a vibrator can look after that part of it.

Hey, ladys
I just want to remind you that there are 2 kinds of orgasms - Clito's and Vagina's. I got my first clito's orgasm when I was 3 monthes post-op, but for penetrative sex orgasm it's a totally different story...
According to a study by Dr. Stanley Biber (deceased) 80 to 100% of post op SRS patients reported having orgasms. That is more than biological females.

Remind us? what makes you think we don't know about orgasms? ;)
Well, hmmmm, as a woman I am a virgin so I didn't know about the penetration part of having an orgasm.
Cindy
well if left to me it would be matter of days but i think i will take Tinks advice and be good to go at 3 months :)

*evil giggle* Ummm....well...let's see..for me, a clitoral orgasm feels like a spasmic current of electricity that runs from my tailbone up to my spine and through my head and back down to my toes while a vaginal orgasm feels like huge ocean waves that reach my tummy and give me butterflies there. I presume that it's a different experience for everyone but I'm just saying. I am not going to be reported for this post, am I? ;D

Lol @ Tink
I am Lisa, post-op Now almost 6 years from when I was 18. Having a surgeon Dad and Nurse Mom, in California, made all the advantages for me as I was diagnosed TG by age 5. I had a girlhood and more after 14 when I went to a private school to be feminine full time.
BUT, to the subject. I had 'genital correction surgery' in spring break, still in High School. Labiaplasty 3 months later.
I CLEARLY remember my first vaginal sex experience and it hurt; but got better. Now, it is the only way I know to make love - really! I love it and orgasm both ways pretty easily. Practice, practice, dialation, masturbation, read Monica Stewart's "MtF orgasms". It is easier for us newer 'second type women', better surgery, etc.
Mainly, enjoy being a woman. Sex is only one part of a female life.
Lovingly,
Lisa
I had my first sex four months post OP and it was great! Since then I date weekly (I am a bad girl >:-) )
But I did not had an orgasm yet five months post OP but it feels so great that I changed from beeing 80% lesbian to 80% heterosexual.

5 and a half years,it was worth the wait!
